Lieber on Shakespeare: Addressing his doubted authorship by Michael Lieber

Lieber on Shakespeare: addressing his doubted authorship, is a short satirical essay by the English writer Michael Lieber.

The essay presents Lieber's genuine support for William Shakespeare's authorship, while simultaneously poking fun at the various counter groups, who believe either Christopher Marlowe, Francis Bacon or Edward de Vere, to be the true author of Shakespeare’s work. The essay has a narrative component and is set at a fictional Symposium, were every side of the argument is in attendance, with Lieber himself at the podium, acting as the keynote speaker.
